By AOR was born from a real experience I never want anyone else to go through.

Before a trip to the Lake District, the company organizing it bought my camping gear.
I’m not new to the outdoors, so I asked them directly for the technical details: brand, model, specifications.
They never told me.
They knew that if they gave me the details, I might back out—and they didn’t want that.

When the trip came, I found myself with low-quality gear.
A tent that broke a pole the first night—though to be fair, it survived two days like that.
A sleep mask that was little more than cardboard covered in cheap fabric.
Accessories chosen with no care, as if the only goal was to “tick the box” instead of making sure I was properly equipped.

Not everything was negative—I still enjoyed the trip and adapted to what I had.
But one thing became very clear: a lack of transparency and honesty can ruin part of your experience.
And that type of company, the one that puts their convenience above the user, is one I will never deal with again.

That’s why I created By AOR:
To offer only gear I would personally trust, with:
• Clear technical information
• Proven quality
• Honesty: if a product isn’t suitable for certain conditions, I’ll tell you.

By AOR is not just a store.
It’s my personal promise that here, no one will receive gear as a “surprise package,” half-prepared, or in the dark.
Because the outdoors already has enough challenges—your first one shouldn’t be in your backpack.
